La prova della Germania e del redivivo Klose merita una segnalazione. Ma nella giornata in cui i portieri mettono a segno nuove gaffe (Algeria), la perla del giorno sono i due giocatori di Slovenia e Algeria che, al termine della partita, s’intrattengono a parlare serenamente in mezzo al campo, nonostante uno abbia vinto e l’altro abbia perso.

Germany’s first match deserves many claps, especially tanks to  the ‘evergreen’ Klose. But in the day where another goalkeeper fails (Algeria), the pearl of the day is the friendly talking between two players, one of Slovenia the other of Algeria, after the end of the match won by the balcanic 1-0.

Rustenburg, Polokwane, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Pretoria: six stadiums for the four teams of World cup group C. The most prestigious is England, 13 times in the Cup before, but only one time (1966) able to get it. The lions also got the fourt place in 1990. Algeria, who won the continental title in 1990, took part at the WC oly two times in the 80’s; this time they qualified after a dramatic play off against Egypt. Usa will be in for the sixth time since 1990: they got the third place in 1930, and in the past won the Concacaf title four times. For Slovenia, who took part only once in the past (2002), it is a great thing to get qualified this time, after beating bigger countries’ teams like Russia and Poland.

In questo gruppo si contenderanno il passaggio agli ottavi di finale Inghilterra, Stati Uniti, Algeria, Slovenia; gli incontri sono previsti a Rustenburg, Polokwane, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth e Pretoria.
