Thanks to Foodtrotter who shared the news with us, we find again Esther Malangu in Italy: we saw her for the first time in 2009 at Lingotto of Turin. A personal exhibition is now being held in Calenzano, near Florence, where the Mpumalanga’s artist shows part of 100 pieces made recently by painting with chicken plums, as in the Ndebele’s tradition. She’s exposing now also in Cuneo and, since the 15^th of july, in Sicily. She’s also expected to make a wall-paint in Mandela square of Rome, at the beginning of july.
